Bereavement Counseling

When someone close dies it can be devastating emotionally particularly so if the death is unexpected. During times like this judgment can be clouded and the need to find an anchor is important. Bereavement  counseling is directed at helping people with the adjustment process and getting them back on with their lives. Bereavement counseling is usually short term with just a few sessions to help people adjust to the sudden reality of loss, and to help them with important decisions when emotions can cloud judgment.
